I have worked in enterprise tech companies such as Cisco (as a database services engineer), F5 (as a program management intern) and VMware (as a technical program manager and product manager). I have had amazing learning experiences in every role and product that I have contributed to. Over the course of my career, I have developed many skills and the path to product management particularly has been exciting. I am super-thankful to all my product stakeholders (the enterprise UX designer pros, marketing & strategy rockstars, engineering gurus (if I may)), my managers (throughout my career), fellow product buddies and some awesome mentors for enabling me to flex and develop my product management muscle, especially product sense, and apply it to new products. One of my recent endeavors was applying my product sense to a generative AI SaaS for music creation - a product which was initially released as Riffusion and was later rebranded to Producer.ai. I have also tried to articulate and apply other product management skills such as product strategy through a series of blog posts using Riffusion/Producer.ai as an example. There are two main tracks for the blog posts : 1. text-to-music conversion experiments for various genres of music 2. product sense applied to this (text-to-music) generative AI SaaS . For the blog posts on product sense, I have primarily used Product School's concepts and methods. I have credited other product managers wherever applicable.
